Fortune Cookies
A fortune cookie is a crisp
cookie usually made from flour, sugar, vanilla, and sesame seed oil with a
"fortune" wrapped inside. A "fortune" is a piece of paper
with words of wisdom or a vague prophecy. The message inside may also include a
Chinese phrase with translation or a list of lucky numbers used by some as
lottery numbers, some of which have become actual winner numbers.
Palm Reading
Palmistry or chiromancy (also
spelled cheiromancy, Greek kheir (χεῖρ, ός), “hand”; manteia (μαντεία, ας),
“divination”), is the art of characterization and foretelling the future
through the study of the palm, also known as palm reading, or chirology. The
practice is found all over the world, with numerous cultural variations. Those
who practice chiromancy are generally called palmists, palm readers, hand
readers, hand analysts, or chirologists.
Astrology
Astrology consists of belief
systems which hold that there is a relationship between astronomical phenomena
and events in the human world. In the West, astrology most often consists of a
system of horoscopes that claim to explain aspects of a person's personality
and predict future events in their life based on the positions of the sun,
moon, and other planetary objects at the time of their birth. Many cultures
have attached importance to astronomical events, and the Indians, Chinese, and
Mayans developed elaborate systems for predicting terrestrial events from
celestial observations.
Crystal Ball
A crystal ball is a crystal or
glass ball believed by some people to aid in the performance of clairvoyance.
It is sometimes known as a shew stone. A body of water, either in a container
or on the ground, used for this purpose, is called a scrying pool.
Tea Leaves
Tasseography (also known as
tasseomancy or tassology) is a divination or fortune-telling method that
interprets patterns in tea leaves, coffee grounds, or wine sediments.
The terms derive from the French
word tasse (cup), which in turn derives from the cognate Arabic word tassa, and
the Greek suffixes -graph (writing), -logy (study of), and -mancy (divination).
There is no scientific evidence
that the future can be determined through interpretation of these patterns.

I would like some one to read my hand and my future, it would be so cool ^^
ReplyDeleteMiguel you may ask a gipsie lady from our lovely town to read your palm. Maybe you'll find one that does that kind of thing.
